Neighbour injured with hand axe in Estenfeld
A 59-year-old man is alleged to have attacked his 55-year-old neighbour at the neighbour's apartment door in Estenfeld on Wednesday evening. Police said the man injured him in the upper body with a hand axe. The victim sustained cuts and abrasions, was treated in hospital and was later able to leave.
After the 55-year-old had fled into his apartment, the alleged attacker is said to have armed himself with a knife and tried again to enter the apartment. Officers arrested the suspect at the scene. At the request of prosecutors, an investigating judge ordered him remanded in custody, while inquiries into the background continue.
