Man threatens kiosk owner with knife in Braunschweig
In the early hours of 3 June, an unidentified man allegedly demanded cash at a kiosk on Hugo-Luther-Straße in Braunschweig. Police said that when the 29-year-old owner opened the window, the man was holding a knife and used it to threaten him. After the owner refused to hand over money, a dispute developed and the owner also picked up a bread knife. The alleged offender fled towards the Ringgleis area without any proceeds. Criminal police are investigating and seeking witnesses.
