Man points knife at police officers in Fürstenwalde/Spree
A 35-year-old man held a knife toward police officers during an operation in Fürstenwalde/Spree. Before police entered, he had been causing a disturbance in the attic of a house and had leaned out of a window far enough for a fall to be feared.
Officers calmed the man and persuaded him to open the door. When they warned that a conducted-energy device could be used, he dropped the knife. He was brought under control without injury and then taken to hospital for medical care.
