Woman dies after stab wound in Essen-Kray
On the evening of 20 February, a 28-year-old woman was found with a stab wound on Schollenbroich in Essen-Kray. Police said the injury was believed to have been caused by a stabbing weapon. Despite first aid by fire service personnel and police, the woman died at the scene. A 44-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man were identified there as suspects and provisionally arrested. The background and sequence of events remained under investigation.
