Two people injured in knife attack in Osnabrück

A 60-year-old man and a minor were seriously injured by knife wounds during an altercation with a group of youths on In der Dodesheide street in Osnabrück on 20 February. According to the investigation so far, an argument was followed by a physical confrontation between the two injured people, with knives reportedly used on both sides. The minor sustained multiple life-threatening stab wounds, was resuscitated at the scene and taken to hospital. The 60-year-old went to his home while seriously injured. A suspected participant was later arrested and also received medical treatment. Prosecutors and police are investigating attempted homicide.
