Man seriously injured by machete during dispute in Eltmann

A dispute between two men escalated at the Main riverbank in Eltmann in the early hours of 10 May. According to the initial findings, a 32-year-old returned carrying a machete and threatened a 19-year-old, who initially fled. The two met again in a building entrance and became involved in a struggle. When they fell to the ground, the 19-year-old was injured by the machete and nearly severed two fingers. The suspect initially fled but was provisionally detained after a search and later released. Police are investigating threats and bodily harm, while the precise sequence of events is still being examined.
