Man injured with pointed object in Wuppertal
A 21-year-old man suffered a superficial back injury from a pointed object near the Luisenfest in Wuppertal. He was walking on Friedrich-Ebert-Straße at about 22:20 on 10 May and, according to police, did not notice how the injury was inflicted. Emergency services took him to hospital for outpatient treatment. At around the same time, a larger group had been involved in an altercation at the junction of Friedrich-Ebert-Straße and Untergrünewalder Straße. Police are investigating whether that incident was connected to the injury.
