Store detective threatened with knife-like object in Duisburg
A 46-year-old store detective was threatened with a knife-like pointed object following a shoplifting incident at a hardware store on Düsseldorfer Straße in Duisburg-Wanheimerort. At about 4 p.m. on Friday, he confronted two men after they passed the checkout area and held one of them. The other man then produced the object and threatened the detective, who released the man he was holding. Both men fled, leaving the stolen goods in the car park. Police are seeking the unidentified men, who are estimated to be between 18 and 21 years old.
