Ride-service driver robbed at knifepoint in Düsseldorf
Two men escaped with cash in Düsseldorf on 24 September 2026 after one threatened a ride-service driver with a knife. The driver had picked them up at around 22:50 outside a hotel on Münsterstraße for a journey via a stop on Ostendorfstraße to Cologne Bonn Airport. At the stop, one passenger held a knife to the driver's neck from the back seat and demanded money. After the driver handed it over, both men fled towards Heinrichstraße. An immediate police search was initially unsuccessful, and officers are seeking witnesses.
