At the entrance to the Stadt-Center on Gutenbergstraße in Düren, an 18-year-old man allegedly held a folding knife toward a 21-year-old woman. The woman called for help before any further demands were made or physical contact occurred. The man initially fled but was provisionally detained shortly afterwards at Kaiserplatz. Officers seized, among other items, the suspected folding knife during a search. Police are investigating an attempted aggravated robbery.
