Two men injured in knife attack in Kreuzberg

Police arrested a 22-year-old suspect who is alleged to have injured two 25-year-old men with a knife during the night in Kreuzberg. According to the initial findings, he approached several people in Görlitzer Park at around 12:40 a.m. and is said to have provoked arguments. Near the intersection of Skalitzer Straße and Görlitzer Straße, he allegedly stabbed one 25-year-old man without warning, injuring his back; a companion intervened.

While the police operation was still underway, another 25-year-old man reported to officers near Wiener Straße and Liegnitzer Straße with a stab wound to his forearm. He said the suspect had also injured him with a knife. Both men were taken to hospital for treatment, with the second man receiving inpatient treatment. Officers seized a knife from the arrested suspect as the suspected weapon, and criminal police took over the investigation.
