Serious stab injury in confrontation in Detmold
A 19-year-old man sustained a serious stab injury during an earlier physical confrontation in Detmold. Police said that a 43-year-old man and his two companions are alleged to have caused the injury. The 43-year-old later died from gunshot wounds; a companion of the 19-year-old is accused of inflicting those fatal injuries. The 19-year-old turned himself in to police on 6 January after being sought in connection with the killing.
