Armed robbery at Frankfurt shop
An unidentified man is suspected of committing a serious robbery at a shop on Hanauer Landstrasse in Frankfurt am Main on 4 January. Investigators said he drew a knife, threatened a female employee and demanded cash. When she tried to leave, he blocked her way. She opened the cash register, and the man took a mid-three-figure sum before fleeing prior to the police arrival. Prosecutors and police are searching for the suspect.
