Teenager seriously injured in knife attack at Chemnitz hospital
A teenager was seriously injured with a knife on the grounds of a hospital on Flemmingstraße in Chemnitz during the night before Wednesday. Police said a man first asked the patient for a cigarette and then stabbed him after he refused. During a struggle, the teenager took the knife from the attacker and fled into a hospital building for treatment. Officers located a 23-year-old suspect near the hospital and seized another knife from him. Doctors said the teenager's injuries were not life-threatening.
