Man seriously injured with knife in dispute in Celle
A 25-year-old man was seriously injured in an altercation in Celle on 26 May. According to police, he became involved in a dispute with a 27-year-old acquaintance near Wilhelm-Hasselmann-Straße at about 20:45. Near Ringelhorst, the 27-year-old is alleged to have injured him in the abdomen with a knife.
The injured man was taken to hospital. The suspect initially left the scene but was located at his home shortly afterwards. Because he appeared heavily intoxicated, police took a blood sample; he was released after police measures were completed. Investigations into the precise sequence of events are ongoing.
