Employee allegedly threatened with knife in Arnsberg

An alleged robbery-related theft occurred at a grocery store in Arnsberg on Tuesday evening. According to the current findings, a man put a bottle of whiskey in his backpack and paid only for a bottle of cola at the checkout. When the store's security system was triggered as he left, an employee confronted him and later restrained him. The man is alleged to have threatened the employee with a knife, after which the employee released him. No one was injured. Police officers found the suspect shortly afterwards during a search, but did not find the alleged stolen goods. Video footage was secured and the investigation is continuing.
