Man threatens driver with pocketknife during dispute near Buchloe
On the road between Buchloe and Kleinkitzighofen on Sunday evening, a 31-year-old man threatened a 19-year-old driver with a broken pocketknife. He had first forced the driver to stop; a dispute then turned physical, leaving the 31-year-old slightly injured. Shortly afterward, he stepped in front of a car driven by a 65-year-old, who swerved and struck a roadside marker. The 31-year-old used the pocketknife again during the ensuing confrontation. Neither driver was injured. Police are investigating the man on suspicion of offences including assault and making threats, while the precise sequence remains under investigation.
