Man threatens another man with kitchen knife in Offenburg
A 23-year-old man sustained minor injuries in an altercation on Hauptstraße in Offenburg and made his own way to a clinic. According to preliminary findings, a 44-year-old man first struck him and later threatened him with a kitchen knife. The dispute was reported on Sunday evening, 27 September 2026, shortly before 9 p.m. After a witness intervened, officers seized the knife and provisionally detained the 44-year-old. A breath test indicated an alcohol level exceeding two per mille. Police are still investigating the circumstances, which they suspect lie in the personal relationship between those involved; no knife injury was reported.
