Man seriously injured in dispute in Reinickendorf

A 31-year-old man sustained serious facial injuries during a dispute with a 33-year-old man in a residential building in Berlin's Reinickendorf district. Police said he lost sight in one eye and suffered facial fractures; the injuries were apparently caused with a knife. Officers alerted at about 7:50 p.m. encountered the 33-year-old holding a knife and arrested him. The knife was seized. The injured man was taken to a clinic and underwent immediate surgery, while the 33-year-old received outpatient treatment for injuries to both hands. He was released after police procedures, and the investigation into the precise sequence of events continues.
