Man remanded in custody after stabbing in Sigmaringen
A 43-year-old man allegedly stabbed a 38-year-old man in the back with a carving chisel during an argument in a flat in central Sigmaringen early on Friday. The injured man suffered a deep, potentially life-threatening stab wound and was taken to hospital. A witness present took the tool from the suspect and restrained him until police arrived. The man was provisionally arrested and remanded in custody after appearing before a judge. Investigations on suspicion of attempted manslaughter and dangerous bodily harm are continuing.
