Man dies after suspected knife injury in Berlin
A 39-year-old man died after an altercation involving several people at Hanne-Sobek-Platz outside Gesundbrunnen station. At around 20:25, the dispute became physical and, according to initial investigations, the man was suspected of having been injured in the neck with a knife. Police officers began resuscitation at the scene, and emergency personnel continued the measures while he was being taken to hospital. He later died there. Berlin State Criminal Police Office's 8th homicide unit is investigating the incident and its background.
