Man threatens police officers with knife in Trier
A 50-year-old man allegedly threatened police officers with death in Trier late on Tuesday evening. When officers arrived after a report that he was causing a disturbance in his apartment, he appeared on its balcony holding a knife. Special police units later took him into custody and he was taken to a clinic. Police said he then resisted officers there; investigations into threats and resisting enforcement officers are ongoing.
