Suspect arrested after petrol station robbery in Düren
Police arrested a suspect after a robbery at a petrol station on Kölner Landstraße in Düren. The man is alleged to have been masked with a motorcycle helmet at about 9:20 p.m. on 10 June 2025, displayed a knife and threatened violence. He is alleged to have obtained a substantial sum of money and cigarettes.
He initially fled on a small motor vehicle. A witness pursued him and, according to police, led officers to the suspect. Police recovered the stolen property and the weapon from the 20-year-old man; they also said the vehicle used to flee had been stolen.
