Knife allegedly drawn during attempted robbery at Berlin café
During an attempted robbery at a café in Berlin-Friedrichshain, one of the attackers allegedly drew a knife amid a violent confrontation. Two unknown men had demanded money from employees on the afternoon of 14 April and threatened consequences for the business if they did not comply. The situation then escalated as further people entered the café and chairs and tables were thrown. Two employees were injured; one was treated at the scene and the other received outpatient hospital treatment. At least three suspects fled without any proceeds. The robbery unit is investigating.
