Ticket inspector seriously injured in Bergheim
A 36-year-old ticket inspector was seriously injured at the Bergheim Rathaus bus stop on 23 April. Three men are alleged to have suddenly attacked him while he was on duty, struck him and inflicted stab and cut injuries to his upper body and leg. The attackers fled, while the injured man called police himself. A homicide investigation unit is investigating and searching for the three suspects. Police said he remains in hospital but is not currently in danger of dying.
