Cashier threatened with knife in attempted robbery in Düren
An unknown masked man carried out an attempted robbery at a kiosk on Arnoldusstraße in Düren on Wednesday morning. At about 06:50, police say he threatened the cashier who was present with a knife and demanded the contents of the till. After the employee said there was no money in it, the man fled on foot towards Rather Straße without taking anything. Criminal police are investigating and seeking witnesses.
