Cashier injured with knife during Augsburg robbery
An unidentified offender robbed cash from an open register at a supermarket in Augsburg-Oberhausen on 19 June and injured a 31-year-old cashier in the hand with a knife. The woman sustained minor injuries. The man had initially behaved like a customer; when the cashier tried to stop him from taking the cash, he drew the knife and reached into the register again. While fleeing, he also threatened two men with the knife. He escaped with proceeds in the low four-figure range, and criminal police are investigating robbery.
