Two men attack with knives after dispute outside venue in Aue-Bad Schlema
An altercation occurred outside a venue on Bahnhofstraße in Aue-Bad Schlema shortly after midnight on 26 January between two men who had previously been required to leave the premises. A 47-year-old man allegedly pulled a bread knife, but the 36-year-old man fended off the attack. A 59-year-old companion of the first man then allegedly attacked the 36-year-old with a pocketknife. The victim and another man also repelled that attack and took the knife away. The 36-year-old and the 47-year-old sustained minor injuries. Police seized both knives and are investigating the two alleged attackers on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm and making threats.
