Attempted robberies in Ahlen: object possibly used as a knife
On Sunday evening, 26 January, a duo is alleged to have targeted three people in attempted robberies within a short period in Ahlen. According to police, the masked suspects demanded money from a 54-year-old man on Bruno-Wagler-Weg. One of them allegedly tried to move an object, possibly a knife, toward his neck. The man kicked the suspect and fled.
Shortly afterwards, the two are alleged to have threatened a 48-year-old man with a black firearm and demanded money on Wilhelmstraße. At an intersection near Hans-Sachs-Straße, the duo allegedly also demanded money from a 50-year-old man while using a firearm. Both suspects fled, and the initial search was unsuccessful.
