Armed robbery at Gera pub
A man allegedly robbed a pub on Gagarinstraße in Gera during the night of 26 January. According to police, he threatened an employee with a knife, demanded money and valuables, and kept her under pressure for an extended period. He also forced open gaming machines and took money from them. The offender fled unidentified at about 02:50. Criminal police secured evidence and are investigating on suspicion of aggravated robbery and hostage-taking for extortion.
