Attempted knife robbery at shop in Arnsberg
During an attempted robbery at a retail shop at the market square in Neheim's pedestrian zone on Saturday at about 17:30, an unknown man threatened an employee with a knife and demanded cash. The employee refused to hand over money. When the shop owner arrived and also refused the demand, a physical altercation occurred between her and the offender. Police said that the knife was not used during that altercation. The man then fled on foot toward the bus station.
