Man robs Zwickau pharmacy of medication

A 23-year-old man is alleged to have robbed a pharmacy on Bahnhofstraße in Zwickau of several medications at around midday on Thursday. He demanded Oxycodone from two employees, aged 39 and 42, while holding a knife without raising it. After the women refused to hand it over, he took three packages of another medication worth about €100 and fled. Police later found him in the Bachstraße area and took him into custody. Nobody was injured. Police said they are investigating suspected aggravated robbery and also allege that the man had earlier stolen three knives during a residential burglary.
