Woman killed by knife wounds in Unkenbach
A 55-year-old woman was killed in the courtyard of a residential property in Unkenbach on the evening of 12 June. According to the investigation, a 19-year-old man allegedly first knocked her to the ground and then inflicted multiple knife wounds to her upper body. She died at the scene. The suspect was arrested in Löllbach at around midnight after a police search. On 13 June, an investigating judge issued a detention order on prosecutors' application on suspicion of manslaughter; the 19-year-old is being held in a correctional facility for juveniles and young adults. The motive and immediate trigger remain under investigation.
