Men armed with machete attack two people in Zwickau
In Zwickau city centre, a 19-year-old man was initially attacked by three men from a group at Alter Steinweg on Wednesday evening and sustained minor injuries. Shortly afterwards, he and a 26-year-old man confronted the attackers near Paradiesbrücke. The three men armed themselves with telescopic batons and a machete and moved against the pair, who escaped without injuries. Police identified two suspects, a minor and a 24-year-old man, and are investigating them and another alleged perpetrator for dangerous and attempted dangerous bodily harm.
