Man critically injured with kitchen knife in Meschede
A 36-year-old man is alleged to have stabbed a 67-year-old caretaker in the abdomen with a kitchen knife at a municipal accommodation facility on Waldstraße in Meschede on 12 June 2025. The injured man underwent emergency surgery and, according to police, remained in critical condition. The suspect was arrested at the scene. A judge later ordered pre-trial detention, while the investigation into the background of the incident continues.
