Man arrested after reported knife threat in Zülpich
A man is alleged to have threatened his father with a knife at the father's home in Zülpich on 8 March. According to police, he then left the home carrying the knife. Shortly afterwards, a witness reported that a man had tried to damage a car tyre on Guinbertstraße. Officers identified and arrested the suspect without resistance and seized a knife and nail scissors during a search. During his subsequent transport to a psychiatric facility, the man is also alleged to have insulted and threatened the accompanying officers.
