Attempted phone robbery involving knife in Wuppertal
An unidentified man attempted to rob a 22-year-old woman of her mobile phone in Wuppertal on the evening of 23 July 2026. She was waiting in her car on Sternstraße when he knocked on the window. After she opened it, he held a knife in front of her and demanded the phone. She suffered cuts to one hand while resisting. The man fled towards Wichlinghauser Straße, and police are searching for him.
