Man threatens driver with knife in Wuppertal
In the early hours of 4 February, a man threatened the 50-year-old driver of a radio taxi with a knife in Wuppertal. The driver had requested the fare after the journey ended at Döppersberg. The man then fled from the vehicle without paying. During the search, police arrested a 19-year-old who is believed to be responsible. He was carrying a knife and narcotics, and a blood sample was ordered because he was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Prosecutors applied for him to be brought before a judge with a request for pre-trial detention.
