Man threatens group with knife in Wupperpark
A 30-year-old man allegedly walked past a group in Wupperpark Ost in Wuppertal at about 5:35 p.m. on 22 June, drew a knife and threatened several people. He then fled towards Alte Freiheit. Officers later encountered him on Hofaue and found a hammer and a knife during a search. The man had suffered a head injury before the police operation, received outpatient treatment and was then taken to a psychiatric facility. Nobody was injured during the incident.
