Waitress threatened with knife in Würzburg extortion
At a restaurant on Würzburg's Marienplatz, an unknown man allegedly lured a waitress to the toilet area on Monday evening under a pretext. He then demanded her wallet containing the day's takings while holding a knife. The woman handed over the wallet, and the offender fled without being identified. The search was unsuccessful and criminal police are investigating on suspicion of robbery extortion. Police say the same man may previously have tried to obtain money at a jewellery shop.
