Two men injured with knife in attempted robbery in Würselen
Two men aged 25 and 28 were attacked and slightly injured by several youths at the Parkhotel bus stop in Würselen on Saturday evening. At around 11 p.m., the men had been travelling on a bus between Baesweiler and Aachen when the youths allegedly threatened them on board. The men got off at the stop, and the group followed them.
According to police, the youths attacked the men with kicks, punches and a knife. They also allegedly tried to rob the 28-year-old of his mobile phone. The phone fell to the ground, but the perpetrators fled towards Würselen without any loot. The injured men were taken to hospital by ambulance. An immediate search was unsuccessful, and criminal police are investigating and seeking witnesses.
