Man threatens passers-by with knife in Wülfrath
A 24-year-old man allegedly threatened several passers-by with a knife near a taxi rank on Goethestraße in Wülfrath. A taxi driver alerted police, who located the suspect within minutes and temporarily detained him. Officers said he had thrown the knife into bushes; they recovered and seized it. A prohibited knuckleduster was also seized during the search. The man was held to prevent further offences, later released, and became the subject of criminal proceedings. Police also said he had allegedly thrown stones and caused a disturbance earlier on Kirschbaumstraße.
