Man critically injured in stabbing in Wolfenbüttel
A man was seriously injured by knife wounds in a stabbing near the Sternhaus in Wolfenbüttel late on Monday evening. Police said his injuries were life-threatening and that he had already been taken to hospital before officers were alerted.
At the car park leading to the Friedwald, police found three men ranging from minors to young adults who may be connected to the incident. During a search, another person was located in an adjoining wooded area who may also be linked to the case. Police are investigating on suspicion of attempted manslaughter, collecting evidence, and seeking information from witnesses. A motive is not yet known.
