Man threatened with knife and robbed during phone sale in Leimen
A 58-year-old man was reportedly the victim of aggravated extortion during a phone sale arranged through an online platform in Leimen-St. Ilgen. Police said that one of two unknown men threatened him with a knife and demanded cash at the intersection of Unterm Sand and Gustav-Throm-Straße during the night into Monday.
The man threw 900 euros onto the ground. He was then pushed, fell and sustained minor injuries. The two suspects fled on foot and a search was unsuccessful. After initial treatment, the man was taken to hospital as a precaution; criminal police are investigating.
