Woman critically injured after alleged stabbing in Witten
A 36-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries in Witten on 6 May. Investigators say that, based on their current findings, a 44-year-old man allegedly stabbed her with one or more objects, possibly including scissors. Her condition was largely stabilised in hospital, but she remains in intensive care. Prosecutors applied for an arrest warrant on suspicion of attempted murder, while a homicide unit continues to investigate.
