Two injured in suspected attempted homicide in Witten
Two people were injured in suspected attempted homicide at an apartment on Bahnhofstraße in Witten early on 6 May. Police said a 36-year-old woman sustained life-threatening injuries from an object, possibly scissors, and was taken to hospital. The 44-year-old apartment tenant was slightly injured and taken into police custody after outpatient treatment. A homicide investigation unit is investigating under the direction of the Bochum public prosecutor's office; authorities initially gave no details about the background.
