Fatal stabbing injury in Wipperfürth – wife arrested
An 83-year-old man died in an apartment in Wipperfürth on 9 January after his 75-year-old wife allegedly inflicted a fatal stabbing injury to his upper body, police said. Emergency personnel and an emergency doctor attempted resuscitation, but the man died at the scene. Police arrested the female suspect in the couple's shared apartment. A homicide investigation unit secured evidence, and inquiries into the sequence of events and the motive are ongoing.
