Man remanded after knife attack in Wilhelmshaven
A 33-year-old man allegedly attacked a 42-year-old woman with a knife on Gökerstraße in Wilhelmshaven on Saturday. Police officers observed him bring the woman to the ground and make stabbing movements towards her upper body. Officers intervened, after which the man threw away the knife and was arrested. The woman sustained defensive injuries and superficial stab wounds, received hospital treatment and was released later that evening. The suspect was remanded in custody the following day.
