Woman injured in knife robbery in Wickede
Two youths are alleged to have robbed a 66-year-old woman on Marscheidstraße in Wickede (Ruhr) at around 7:30 pm on 13 June. Police said they approached on an e-scooter, displayed a knife and demanded money. When the woman did not respond immediately, one of the attackers allegedly inflicted a superficial cut to her ear with the knife. The woman handed over her wallet, from which the perpetrators took 20 euros before fleeing. The injury did not require medical treatment. Criminal police are investigating on suspicion of aggravated robbery.
