Man slightly injured in knife attack in Mainz-Mombach
A man was slightly injured with a knife during an altercation on Hauptstraße in Mainz-Mombach on 13 June. According to the investigation so far, a suspect aged about 25 had contacted the eventual victim through a communications app under a false identity and arranged a meeting. The suspect initially attacked the man at the meeting, leading to a physical confrontation. He then produced a knife and moved toward the victim with it. The victim defended himself and sustained a minor injury to a finger. The suspect fled.
